World Book Day - Thursday 5th March

Children are invited to come to school dressed as a character from a book to celebrate World Book Day. For some inspiration, please look at the 'dressing up gallery' on http://www.worldbookday.com

We are also uniting with schools across the city to take part in a Drop Everything and Read session at 10.00 am.  We'd love your child to join in by donating £1 and bringing something in to read. 20% of what we raise will go towards buying books for school and the rest will support the charity Read for Good.

    Many thanks

    Mrs Griffiths

  • Number Day 2020

    Tue 11 Feb 2020
Many thanks to all the contributions given for Number Day on Friday.  We managed to raise £295.40 for NSPCC.  We had lots of great outfits this year from the children showing lots of creativity and imagination to promote Number Day in school.  During the day, the children enjoyed taking part in the Maths quizzes, playing number games and doing lots of practical Maths with playdoh.  I would like to give a special thank you to Mr Buividovich and Mrs Karban who came into Years 1 and 4 to talk about how they use Maths in their job.  It was great for the children to see the importance Maths outside of the classroom.
