  • Beep Beep Day

    Wed 20 Nov 2019
    Dear parents/carers,

We are taking part in the Brake road safety Beep, Beep Day.  The main aim of a Beep Beep Day is to encourage children to learn the basics of road safety through fun activities and to raise awareness among parents and the local community about protecting children on roads.

    https://www.brake.org.uk/beepbeepday

On Monday 18th November, all classes will receive  a poster about Road Safety to display in classrooms and they will dedicate a lesson that week about keeping safe on our roads.  Children bring a letter home informing you about our Road Safety campaign and it would be great if you could support at home with this!

    Thanks,

    Mrs McMillan

  • BBC Children in Need 'Wear spots to raise lots'

    Fri 15 Nov 2019

    Dear parents/carers,

We’d like to get involved in the annual BBC Children in Need fundraising again this year as it’s such a great cause. We’re inviting our pupils (if they wish) to ‘Wear spots to raise lots’; this means they can wear something spotty in any way i.e. an outfit, some spotty socks, a hat/hairband, face-painted spots etc. We kindly ask for a suggested donation of £1, to be sent in with pupils.

    Kind regards,

    Miss L Everitt

    Headteacher
