The reception school day starts at 8:55am and ends at 3:25pm.

We have milk/water and snack in the morning session.

Lunch is from 12:00 to 1:15pm.

Children should bring in every day:

*a water bottle - labelled with their name

*a coat

*a book bag - this is used for reading books, letters etc.

It is also useful to have in school, a pair of wellies and a waterproof coat with a hood - we will got out into forest school whatever the weather and it can get muddy!

PE will take place on Friday mornings: Please ensure that your child has a labelled PE kit in school and a pair of pumps. This PE kit will stay in school for the whole half term.

Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly named, e.g. coats, jumpers, shirts, trousers, ties, pumps, PE kit etc.

Please keep getting your children to practise dressing and undressing

as this is a useful skill for them to learn.

ROAD SAFETY WEEK 2019

We will be talking about how we come to school safely.

Do you come in a car, on a bike, on public transport or do you walk?

What hazards do you face along the way? How do you stay safe with the adults you are with?

Will's walk

Will's walk has been created by Brake, the road safety charity, for Road Safety Week 2017. The video is for families and educators who work with 2-7 year olds as part of Brake's Beep Beep! Day project. For more information visit www.brake.org.uk/beepbeepday and www.roadsafetyweek.org.uk
