We had a fantastic World Maths Day this year with a range of fun and engaging, creative Maths activities and challenges in action across the whole school. This year's theme was also linked to geographical skills with mapwork, flag designs and data about different countries.
Along with this, we had 'Convince me' cards to promote reasoning skills, discussion stations and Tarsia activities. Outdoor problem-solving, iPads, Cluedo-style maths puzzles and Maths on a Mat.
All these and many more fantastic, fun games and challenges.
Our pupils also enjoyed our dress-up theme with a Maths link. Symmetrical patterns, rotations and reflections, shapes, spots, numbers and parallel lines and stripes were some of the fantastic efforts on show.
Thanks to Miss Lisney for co-ordinating World Maths Day activities across the school. Looking forward to next year!
