We are getting ready for our concert on Wednesday 2nd March 2016

at the Manchester Arena.

Here is the timetable for rehearsal:

• 12:30 - Mosspits Choir leaves school to go to Manchester

• 13:30 - Choirs arrive at the arena.  Stewards will be available to assist.  You will receive full details of your choir seating arrangements approximately one week before the concert.

• 14:15 - Rehearsal starts.  Once the rehearsal has started, children should not go to the toilets in large groups as this can be extremely distracting.  Small groups of 5 are advised.

• 17:00 - Rehearsal ends.  At this time there will be a one hour break to get supper, use the toilets, and stretch your legs.

Mosspits Choir should break a packed tea or money for concessions

(only hot dogs and nachos available at approximately £5 each))

• 18:00 - Arena opens for parents.  All choirs must be back in their seats at this time.

• 19:00 - Concert commences.

• 21:15 - Concert ends.

These are rough timings so if we start late or run over - please understand that sometimes these things happen.

After the concert concludes at 21:15 - due to health and safety - under NO circumstances are school choirs to leave the concert early.  

All children and teachers are to remain in their seats with their choirs until the audience has dispersed.

Please listed to the announcer on the night for further instructions.

Mosspits Choir will then return to school for collection, arriving at 10:15-10:30pm approximately.

We will send out a text when we leave the arena and as we come off the M62.

Choir Resources Now Available!

Thank you to everyone for your patience regarding the choir resources. We are happy to announce that the choir resources are now up and running! Here is a brief list of the resources that will be available in the Choir Resources:

• MP3s of all the music
• MP3s of all the backing tracks
• Videos of the choreography
• Lyric sheets
• Any additional music or teaching resources that become available as the year progresses
