We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been recognised as an Investors in Pupils School. This is a national quality charter mark which develops the process of pupil participation and pupil voice and empowers the children to help change and improve their school.  We were involved in a rigorous assessment process to achieve this recognition and we would like to thank Mr Harbottle, who led the project, along with all staff, pupils, Governors and families for their fantastic contribution.

UPDATE: It's now official, we have received the report and it makes for excellent reading. Read it here: http://www.mosspits.com/investors-in-pupils/

    VE DAY: 70TH ANNIVERSARY

We will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of VE day on Friday May 15th 2015.

All classes across the school will take part in creative activities such as learning how to play street party games, watching film footage and reading historical stories and extracts to learn about the significance of VE day and aspects of World War II.

Weather permitting, we will have a picnic-style street party lunch and all children will be provided with iced lollies thanks to our Parents Association who will also decorate the playground (or canteen if weather is poor). Our school canteen are also baking a VE day cake for every class to enjoy.

Children are able to come to school in red, white or blue (or even all three) if they wish to.
