OUR YOUNG VOICES CONCERT IS AT THE MANCHESTER ARENA ON MONDAY 22ND JANUARY 2018

Young Voices at Manchester Arena

Dear Teacher

We hope you had a lovely summer holiday.

In light of events at Manchester Arena earlier this year we have been working hard on safety procedures.

Manchester Arena has been in consultation with Greater Manchester security and emergency services to review and augment the security measures at the arena. As a result of this we have introduced the following:

Enhanced security and bag checks so please advise parents to arrive as early as possible to avoid delays on entry to the arena.
Consultation with Greater Manchester Police, British Transport Police and Manchester City Council
Reduced running time for the event to reduce congestion on departure
Increased screening of accreditation for Teachers, Assistants and Chaperones on arrival.
Tickets to the event will only be available via the participating schools

In addition to the above, the Young Voices team will be working alongside Manchester Arena and it’s partners to develop a bespoke event plan containing detailed arrival and egress information for our concerts that take place in early 2018. All of this information will be provided to schools in due course and with ample time before the events.
