NSPCC Number Day 2017
We held our NSPCC Number Day in school on Friday 3rd February 2017.
This was Maths-themed across the school with a focus on using Maths across the curriculum. In Year 5, children practised mental maths in French! C'est CALCUL MENTAL!
Year 6 worked with Dot-art artist, Eimer Kavanagh on a Maths through Art project - the outcomes are fantastic!
Year 4 and 5 were well challenged to do a range of Maths puzzles and logic problems with Paul Godding from the 7puzzle company.
Children also came to school in a Maths theme for a donation to NSPCC. - This included numbers, patterns, shape, symmetry, lines and angles. We are proud to say we raised £349.48 - thank you all so much for generous donations!
What a fantastic day it was! Maths EVERYWHERE!
