This term's topic: Once Upon a Time.
We will be looking at lots of different Traditional Tales this half term. We will be reading "The Little Red Hen" & "Gingerbread Man" as our key texts, using Talk for Writing to bring the story to life!
We will continue to practise counting, adding & subtracting numbers to 10. As well as exploring Length, Weight and Capacity, and looking at positional language.
Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly named. Coats, jumpers, shirts, trousers, pumps etc.
Please bring in your child's Book Bag every day. We will need it when we are changing books, giving out letters and sending home certificates etc.
PE takes place on Tuesday mornings: Please ensure that your child has a labelled PE kit in school and a pair of pumps. This PE kit will stay in school for the whole half term. Please keep getting your children to practise dressing and undressing as this is a useful skill for them to learn.
Please send your child into school everyday with a named water bottle and a coat. Please bring wellies in if it looks rainy. We will be going out to our Forest School even when the weather is wet.
If you have any concerns, however small they may be, please speak to a member of the EYFS team.
