This term's topic: Once Upon a Time. 

We will be looking at lots of different Traditional Tales this half term. We will be reading "Goldilocks & The Three Bears" as our key text, as well as writing list, and instructions. We will be  using Talk for Writing to bring the story to life!

 

We are looking at doubling and halving numbers, sharing numbers into groups as well as continuing to practise counting, adding & subtracting numbers to 10. We will explore in more depth Length, Weight and Capacity,  and looking at positional language. 

 

RC have been getting taught by Miss Stephenson this half term, and she will be with us until after Easter. 

 

Key Dates:

Wednesday 3rd April - Whole School Easter Service  

Friday 5th April - Last Day of Term 1:30pm finish. 


Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly named. Coats, jumpers, shirts, trousers, pumps etc.

Please bring in your child's Book Bag every day. We will need it when we are changing books, giving out letters and sending home certificates etc.

PE takes place on Thursday Afternoons: Please ensure that your child has a labelled PE kit in school and a pair of pumps. This PE kit will stay in school for the whole half term. Please keep getting your children to practise dressing and undressing as this is a useful skill for them to learn.

Please send your child into school everyday with a named water bottle and a coat. Please bring wellies in if it looks rainy. We will be going out to our Forest School even when the weather is wet.
