The visit of the Lord Mayor of Liverpool
On Tuesday April 28th, the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Erica Kemp CBE, visited our school. She was able to attend Class 3W's assembly to parents, which she particularly enjoyed having been a teacher for many years. It was interesting to find out that her children went to Mosspits many years ago.
She talked to our junior pupils about the role of Lord Mayor and how it is different to the Mayor of Liverpool's job. Many children asked questions ranging from how many engagements she does in a year, to what was her favourite moment in post.
She then met with our school council who were really inspired to learn about the role of a councillor.
