Reading |
We have sent an extra book home for the holidays, remember to return two in January! The children should be reading regularly at home, any problems regarding the difficulty of the book can be communicated via dojo or sticky note on the book. The children can change their reading book any day of the week when they are ready. They can also go up a level if you feel that the books are not challenging enough. Tell your child to choose a book from the next level and if it's too hard, you can always stay on the previous level. |

Spelling |
Weekly spellings are on the class page. Spelling tests are every Friday. |

English |
Research: For our class novel, next term, it wuld be really helpful to have a good working knowledge of the Zodiac, and the mythology around Star Signs. Maybe you could find out what star sign each member of your family is, and what traits they might have. |

Times Tables Rockstars. This week is all the x tables. If you want to move beyond this, use 'studio mode' for free play on any other times table. |
